Hi all,
I got a Wii system for my kids for Christmas this year. I also purchased the Nyko extra batteries and charging kit. My questions is for Christmas morning are the nyko batteries already charged out of the box, or do I need to charge them ahead of time for first time use? Just trying to avoid downtime on the Wii for Christmas morning.

Thanks for any input.

Flanman

They will have some charge, however it's best if you fully charge them before use as it will extend the life of the batteries.

Just use the batteries that come with the Wii remotes for your first round of playing. Then when you're shuttind down for the night, switch over to the Nyko batteries and put them on the charging stand over night. Then you'll be all set for the next day.

they do not pre-charge the batteries. they may have some juice but not much. buy a couple regular AA's or use the ones the wii motes come with, and charge the nykos later,
