Whats the proper way to go from a game cube game to the wii menu. My wii controller wouldn't work, the 4 blue lights just flashed when I tried to do anything with it. I had to press eject while the game cube game was on, take it out, then it said on the screen "close disc cover". I didn't know what this meant so i then just turned it off then back on.
Can anyone tell me the right/safe way to do this?

umm. . . I think you have to turn the Wii off and turn it on again.

Its not possible. You have to turn the wii off and then turn it back on.

Think of it as a wii with a built-in gamecube, and you can only have one on at a time. When you turn the gamecube part on, the wii part turns off. So to get the wii part back on, you must turn the gamecube part off.

You have to turn the console right off, The reason for this is because once you insert a GC game it turns the wii into a GC emulator.
