Wii Remote Opposite Rotation

Already called Nintendo support and well just confused the poor young lady

I noticed in the bowling game that if I rotate the remote left the ball curves to the right and, well, gee, rotate to the right and the ball curves right.
Went into the Wii hardware setup and to the bar sensitivity area and noticed that when I rotate the remote to the right the two lights rotate left, etc.

Thought maybe the pickup bar was upside down . nope, does the same thing when turned over

The Nintendo support had me bang the remote end in the palm of my hand ... for what purpose I can only imagine ... no help !

OK, all you gurus, what the heck is going on here? Sure makes bowling really wierd but I have not noticed it in the other programs.

I've read about this problem before on the forums but never experienced it myself. It is a truly bizarre issue, but not unheard of.

Maybe do a search and see what fixes other people came up with.
