Not sure. It couldn't be much. Probably about 4lb?

It will be very light, especially if compared to the PS3 and 360.

I've actually received a whole shipment of them today. The box itself (with everything included) weighs around 5.5 pounds. While the Ps3 had been a good 8-9 pounds I'd like to say. The Ps3 also had a handle to carry the box, due to it's weight.

I think the Wii will weight more than it looks. Don't have any figures, but the above seem reasonable.

Well, if you believe this then it's one heavyweight little device:
23lb for the box - 7lb for the unit itself! The dimensions of the box seem a little more feasible...........

I watched a video saying the unit itself was (or seemed) heavier than the PS3... so the package might be heavier, unless of course Sony is shipping theirs with a monster power brick and 12lb controllers.

Well since they are shipping the product it will obviously weigh more since they're putting a box inside a box, as well as it being filled with popcorn and bubblewrap.

I've had my hands on the box, and it's not heavy. If you think a bag of rice is heavy, you might think the Wii is heavy. If you wish to know heavy, pick up a Ps3 without the handle, and you'll see heavy.

Hopefully it will be heavy enough to wear the little ones get sad they can't carry it and decide to buy a psp instead so theres more wii's for us.
