Just had my UK Wii sent over to me here in Japan using a transformer for power.

I cant get a stable picture on my TV - The setup screen keeps jumping up and down.

Do I have a faulty AV cable here?

Any help appreciated.

Erm, thanks for the advice, but I want my kids to keep onto some of their English before they get swamped entirely with Japanese.

European Wii`s are made for PAL televisions. Japan`s electronics are NTSC standard. Your Wii will not work on a Japanese television. The reason America can play Japanese Wii and vice versa is North America is also NTSC. You must buy a Japanese Wii or a PAL television.
