I was wondering if anyone has opened up their Wii and removed the stock thermal rubber from the heatsink and replaced it with something more efficient, like Arctic Silver?

If my Wii wasn't still under warranty I'd do exactly that. I even have Shin-Etsu that's better than Arctic Silver. Stuff costs a fortune though.

Would it really be worth doing? Haven't heard of anyone's wii overheating, and don't really feel like the CPU slows down at all from what I've seen. Would it improve load times?
