Hello,

This is a worry in the back of my mind every ever I turn my Wii off and it goes into standby mode. The thing is it is still on and therefore produces heat. When I decide to use it again I feel the sides of it and it feels relatively "luke warm." I was wondering if leaving it on standby mode cause a problem in the future?

Any information would be well-appreciated, thank you.

No standby will not cause your Wii any harm, nor will it overheat.
I always leave mine on Standby and it barely gets warm. Your Wii is fine, no worries

If you're still concerned then you can turn off standby mode and you wont miss much, just any updates to the message board wont show up until after you turn it on.
