Installation
You will need:

1x Wii
1x SD card, formatted as FAT16
1x copy of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that has been run at least once
1x Computer
1x Some way to read SD cards on a computer
(Optional) 1x or more GameCube controller
(Optional) 1x USBGecko
Inside the zip archive, you will find several savegame files; you will need to choose the correct one based on your version of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The easiest way to check your version is to compare the text string which is on the inner cycle of the data surface with the ones below.

RVL-RZDP-0A-0 JPN - rzdp0.bin
RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN - rzde0.bin
RVL-RZDE-0A-0 USA - rzde0.bin
RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA - rzde2.bin
RVL-RZDJ-0A-0 JPN - rzdj0.bin
If it does not already exist, make a directory called "/private/wii/title/RZDx/" on your SD card; replace "RZDx" with RZDE, RZDP or RZDJ as appropriate. Copy the above file into that directory, renaming it as "data.bin".
Next, take your homebrew Wii executable, and save it in the root directory of your SD card as "boot.elf".
Now, put the SD card into your Wii and turn it on. Go into Wii Options --> Data Management --> Save Data --> Wii. Find your Zelda save, click on it, and click "Erase", and click Yes. Now, go into SD card, and select the "Twilight Hack" save (the icon says "Wiibrew Loader"). Click copy, and yes. Now, go back out of that menu.
Insert Zelda, and run the game. Load file A, and walk backwards.

You can now load homebrew from the internal SD card slot on the Wii no modchip or extra hardware needed just an SD Card and an SD Card Reader for your PC. I'm hoping for DVD homebrew soon if its not already out :P

EDIT: Fixed links added install info to post for easy access. The Wiibrew servers are over loaded so if the links don't work try refreshing or try again later cus they are not broken.

would love to see a complete media player like on the xbox..no reason why not and you could use either the sd card slot or dvd drive for media. Shame the sd card slot is not sdhc compatable.

maybe homebrew will make sdhc cards work in the wii's sd card slot some devices have the capability with a small firmware or software upgrade :P

Anyways thanks for posting this is major news and no one is posting anything about it what gives people?

tried this the other day and bingo works a treat. Course i got no gamecube controller but tetris loads, just cant plat it!!!

You can't patch this with an update. Its an explot in the Twlight game that allows for other programs to be run through it, thus the only way to fix it is too make new twilight discs.

I posted the Twilight exploit when it came out but no one cared since they did't get the concept.

This basically does what the GC homebrew did but with all the bells and whistles of the wii. And yes you will be able to emulators like NES, SNES, GBA or even Neogeo. So big N's plan and ripping people off by rereleasing old games got destroy by their most popular launch title.

Software written by the consumers.

Edit: Dammit! I forgot that I don't have a SD card reader since I sold my PC. Now I'll have to download a PowerPC Linux distro and install it on my PS3 to do this.

Those are the last few lines that it outputs. Then it does nothing. :/

Edit: Ah, never mind, I made a stupid mistake. Now I just wish I had a GC controller so I could test it out...
