Yes, it is the Nyko that you most likely heard about.
Though I use just standard rechargeable batteries that I bought from Wal-Mart.
They could last quite some time depending on how long you play it continuously.

They typically last around 30-40 hours. The best option for rechargeables is just to get a normal battery charger and normal rechargeable batteries at a normal store. Not the 3rd party 'Wii remote controller packs', not random chargers and batteries online, none of that. Just go to Target or Walmart or Radioshack or something similar. I got a charger with 2 AA, 2 AAA batteries for $10, then four more Duracell high capacity AA batteries for $5. The setup works great. It shouldn't cost you more than $20ish to get enough to power three controllers.

I use Varta rechargable with 2x AA batteries included and the charger has 3in1 power from worldwide voltage, USB cable that works on wii and car charger. Website is www.varta-consumer.com.au
the batteries are ready to use and it charges fast in 2 Hours. It can take AA or AAA.
