Anyone with Mario Strikers Charged.

I've had my Wii for just over a year,I registered it for the extra 2 mos on the warranty so it's getting close now and I have a question.
While playing Mario Strikers Charged, when taking a megastrike shot there seems to be what would appear to be lots of artifacting going on.
When the character jumps up in the air there are blinking black dots all over the place, the when blocking the shots they appear near the center.
I've never seen the game being played on another Wii so I don't know if it's normal for this game, and during regular game play it seems fine.
I havn't noticed it on any other games, but I do know there are gpu issues so if it's not normal I'll see if I can send it in before my warranty expires.
Thanks.

I was just playing again, and it seems to only happen when the screen zooms in like during close up shots of the characters after they score and megastrikes.
At the end of the games when they show the replays you can see it also, spots blinking in the same place and same time as the replay goes over and over.
I'm playing through a 42" lcd 480p in widescreen mode.I also see them if I switch to the original cable that came with it in 480i.
Like I said before I don't see them anywhere else or with any other games, or at least I have'nt noticed.Wii menu looks fine.I just tried tennis and golf which someone posted some videos on youtube with artifacts and mine go away where theirs seem to always be there.
It is weird.Do you have strikers? do you notice any spots anywhere during a megastrikes?.
If it's a software issue I can live with it, but if it's a hardware problem I'd like to get it taken care of.

It's a component cable, red, green, blue, but I've also tried the regular cable that came with the unit.
Do the gpu issues show up on all games?,and on the Wii menu?,or do certain games make it more noticeable?.
Tomorrow I'll try to change it to the smaller screen size in the wii menu and see if that helps.Maybe blowing it up is stressing the gpu during those action sequences.

Will do,I just went through the Nintendo web site, and it said to check the Wii menu, and Mii channel to see if the problem is there, if not they say it may be a dirty or bad disk.
I'll see if Zelda is giving problems there's alot of close up shots and action.
I'll try tomorrow and I'll post back with my results.

Tried Zelda, and I do see the artifacts on the opening scene.I guess it must be certain colors and when the wii has to blow up an image that they appear most.
Now that I've been looking more I can see them during game play on strikers.I called Nintendo they sent me a email Fed ex tag, so I guess I'll be sending it in next week.
Hope it comes back fixed, I've seen other posters saying they've been coming back with the original problems still there.
I'll post back with my results.

Just figured I'd let you guys know what was going on with this issue I had with my Wii.
First off I must say that Nintendo CS was great, and I must also say the repair dept. was also top notch.
I waited till the last minute to send in the Wii.It took less than a week from the day I shipped it to get it back.
They said they verified the problem, exchanged out my main circuit board, and replaced my drive mechanism. They also said they cleaned it out, and gave me a 1 year warranty for the work performed.
The weird thing is the serial numers are different so I'm thinking they shipped me either a new or refurb unit.It looks new to me.
The invoice also shows my old serial as going in, but comming out with the new serial. It also says they reloaded all my info, which is true.
I put in Strikers and no more spots.
So I am happy.
