Nintendo Wii LAN Adapter

Do i have to buy a certain LAN adapter to convert my Ethernet modem cable to USB to play online? all the wii branded ones seem to be really expensive, though ive looked on amazon and you can get really cheap simple ones for example http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_...ds=lan+adapter but i dont know how these will handle a constant connection, or even if they will work or not. Can anyone advise one to buy without spending a fortune?

you could try using those since they'd basically be doing the same function. the only thing you should know is that consoles can get picky with certain devices that you plug into them so there's a possibility that the wii might not detect it. anyway it's cheap so if it doesn't work you can just return it.
