Can someone please tell me why when my Wii is turned off, the blue hard drive light comes on sometimes ?

At the moment the orange off light is on and the blue hard drive light is pulsating blue. Could it e because it's picking up my broadband router ?

Yeah it's something to do with the internet connection. It's possibly downloading minor updates for your Wii or something.

I wonder if it's because it's updating the Wii news and weather and stuff.

Something along them lines. But it's not a problem, so don't worry.

You can turn it off in Wii Options. I did, because it's annoying.

Thats OK. Now i know what it's doing, i'm not bothered. It's a good job i've got ultra fast cable broadband though and it's not costing me for updates and such.

the 'blue hard drive light' - you mean the disc slot light?

if so then you have a message.

wii updates dont download automatically iirc, you have to go and tell it to update (or it may send you a message if you havent already done so)
