Wii Memory Cards
Im getting really into VC and was woundering how many blocks are on the wii memory cards (1Gb and 2Gb) Also to actually play the games do u have to copy the game from the card to the console first?
PS. How many Blocks do you think some of the wii ware will be

for the 2nd question, yes u can not play the games off of the sd card.
Its sad really.

on the 2gb it's about 16,000 blocks.

they should use normal measurements.. though maybe its a 'kid' thing..
anyway, if you have downloaded something and paid for it, if you deleted it for storage sake, you can download it again, without paying.. log in to your wii shop account and you will see a 'history' of what you have downlaoded.. those would be the things you can download again for free

You know, you don't have to buy the $20 "Official" memory card, you can just go out and buy like 5 1GB or 2GB SD cards for same price

Get the 8GB SD card and your set on storage for the rest of the life of your Wii...that is unless of course you start buying every game available for the Wii both from the VC as well as retail, lol.

Yep...no SDHC so it's 2gb max. And you can pick up a Kingston right now for 8 bucks.
