I wonder if a software BIOS hack could be implemented through the SD slot?

Any issues, just reset your Wii. By the way, is there a small little pinhole reset button on the Wii? "Revert to factory default" function or something similar?

M$ can detect modded systems and banned people from xbox live for it. Nintendo can do the same thing if they tried.

I cannot understand Why people even consider doing this. Nintendo made the Wii the way they did. If you want something different make your own console.
There is an old saying: Cheaters never prosper.
On the other hand Ninty might like people doing this so when it dies you have to buy another one. More $$ for them.

Seriously? I just got a Wii this weekend, and while I wasn't even CLOSE to thinking about it, I am curious as to how the coders are doing with the HB.

But yeah, WiiWare kind of makes modding your Wii pointless.

WiiChat does not allow discussion about modifying the Wii console.
