Wii-Mote problem?

Heres whats wrong:
One of my wii motes works fine,most noteable in wii sports as it has a fast motion in bowling and throws harder in baseball.

My other wii mote(SAME SETTINGS,SAME BATTERIES) doesn't seem to work as god,in bowling the ball has less speed and same for baseball.

whats wrong with it?

also,if i have volume on the wii mote would that shorted the battery life on it?

Call Nintendo's toll free cusomer support. You may have a partiall defective remote that they can help you with.

As far as the remote speaker goes, it will not have a significant impact on battery life.
