Playing Wii On Computer With WinAvi

After some search I found a program called WinAvi that supposedly takes the input directly from your wii (must have Red Yellow White input on your tower) and you can play it on your computer. This would be with no lag (apparently). But I've come across a problem where WinAvi dosen't recognize my video capture device which is the conexant 2388x video capture.. Has anyone else had this problem or any other ideas of playing wii on the computer with minimal lag for recording matches.

I don't see how WinAvi would be any better or worse than any other given TV capture card software.

I'd look into the software that either came with your TV capture card or is intended for your TV capture card, and see how well it works.

Ya, but the thing is I don't see the output on the screen. I've tried almost every program to no avail and i saw somewhere that someone used this one and i havent been able to try it because its not recognizing my capture card.

also if you have something like a DVD player around with composite outputs, see if you can get a feed from that on the PC..

(to single out if the problem may be the card/card setup...)
