Weird wii sound

I turned my wii on today and I could hear a weird lous sound I've never heard before.
Sounds like it is trying to read a disk or something but IT IS LOUD and this had never happened before.
I was thinking It was becasue SSBB and that I should send it to NIntnedo but Im not really sure if I should.
Please help

I suggest calling Nintendo support and asking for their assistance. Your drive could be in trouble. Is your Wii still under warranty?

Does it sound like a back and fourth movement?, 'cause that's what ssbb's loading sounds like. It's just the moter moving the lazer box thingy to different parts of the disk.
