Register new wii

When i go to register my wii on nintendos website it says my serial number is invalid, anyone else have this issue?

No. Where did you get your Wii? Are you sure you didn't confuse an "O" for an "0"?

I bought it at target and their is no O or 0 in the serial number

Make sure it's in the format LUNNNNNNNNN where N=Number.
U.S. Wiis start with LU followed by nine numbers...
