Controller not responding to a game

Our controller won't respond to one game specifically (Agatha Christie's And then there were none). It was working fine, but has suddenly stopped. The controller works fine until the game gets loaded, then the cursor is no where to be seen. I would blame it on the game but it used to work! Any help would be appreciated.

Check to make sure the batteries are fully charged, the cursor usually disappears if the battery is almost dead. If that's not the case, try making sure there is no sunlight hitting the Wii Remote. Good luck!

Unfortunately neither is the case. It only seems to happen with this game. I can pop in anything else and it works fine.

Try resyncing all your controllers with the red button technique. I've seen a Wiimote get orphaned like this before. It works in the menus when you do the reconnect, but will not work once you start a game.

No, unfortunately resyncing didn't help
