Hello all this is officially my first post and I have a question too

I just got a Wii about a week ago finally but I'm looking at this new add-on that is coming out the Wii Fit. My question is do guys think the wii fit will sell out quickly? And if so do you think people be offering it on ebay if I can't get one before they sell out?

Most online retailers (Amazon, etc.) stopped taking pre-orders a couple weeks ago, so yeah, it may be hard to find in stores at first.

Yeah, I live in a small town, and all the places that sell games have even sold out of their pre-orders. I imagine it'll take some time to get one if you dont have a pre-order already.

I live in a small enough town, And the main Game store have none left and have stopped taking pre-orders.. , So i got it at H.M.V...

Some places [Best Buy + others I think] I don't think offered pre-orders.

I bet you'd be able to find one, if you got lucky/went to the right place.

Yeah not all stores do pre orders - actually where I live the majority don't do preorders!

Wal-mart, Future Shop, Best Buy, Target, Zellers - try one of those when they open in the morning of the 21st.

What I'd like to do is buy a few of these and resell them on ebay for some profit, anyone think these will go on ebay after let's say the first 3-5 days of being out?

A few of the stores in the UK that I have visited are completely out of Wii Fits. My mates got one of the last ones in the sote... on the first morning of release.

I called around today and all the retail stores I called said the first batch were for preorders only and the 2nd batch on Friday (if they do come in) will be on a first come, first serve basis.

I am going to call around on Friday morning and see if any store has them in stock.

I called around today and Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Target didnt have any but gamestop had a couple left. I had to sent my secretary over to pick up one because he said they wouldnt last more than 2 hours. Anyways, I do have one in the back of my car so I wil give my opinion on it tonight and the opinion of it with We Ski if time permits.

I would like to know Big N's profit margain on each unit sold. It was originally going to be 59.99 or 69.99 but the cost went up. I am wondering if it is because Nintendo knows this product will sell or because the production costs are higher than we think.

I walked into walmart at 9:00 a.m. and got one and there were still several more and the walmart also took pre-orders.

I looked Wednesday and Today and couldn't find one at multiple stores. Will try again tomorrow, the guy at Target said they were getting a shipment but no guarantees of wii fit.

Haha I thought this was going to be a thread about someone thinking Wii Fit was a "sellout" and I was like What?? Already!? It's awesome, no way!

I work at a gaming store so I just took one out of the back at the end of my shift. I am loving every minute of that game.

Before the release in Japan, the estimated price was US$70. By the time it was released in Japan in December, the same price in Japanese Yen equals ~US$75-80. As of today, the same Japanese price is approximately $85. So it did not go up much, just the US currency keep going down.

What ticks me off is once again the ebay sellers are buying up the stock and cashing in. Over 3500 available on ebay. All of them selling $99+.

I can understand your pain. I felt the same way when I was looking for a Wii a year ago. For the Wii Fit, I could have picked up several boxes as I was the first one in a line of 5 people while the store had 30+ in stock. I decided not to be a greedy person and leave those for others. With the listing and shipping cost on top of the retail price plus tax, they have to sell it for at least $105-$110 (including shipping) on eBay to make even.

The wii fits blew out the door in my area in around three hours.I waited in line at target and was number 5 out of 20. Everyone in line got one and they would not sell you two.There was still units left after they cleared out the line.Now they are all gone.

The night before Best Buy played cat and mouse with me on the phone stating that they would only sell to pre orders first and they would not tell me if they were going to have extras. So great wait in line to be second string and maybe get nothing because if we have extras Im not going to tell you.I never saw anything having to do with Pre orders at Best Buy and I go there frequently. I got my metal gear pre order and beta test ticket there.

So I was at Target at 7:30 and nailed my unit. "Cheers" to Best Buy and the same to the "reward points".

Circuit city offered a buy one get half off on Mario Kart and smash. Best buy claims to match any deal advertised(bring in the add) and they would not honor this deal. HMMMMmmm.

Back to fit... This thing is really REALLY cool.

You may want to try your local stores like Blockbuster, Sears, etc. I found another one at Sears this afternoon which was the last one there. I picked it up for my friend.
