Is there a way that Nintendo can enforce developers to put 16:9 or 4:3 on the back of the box?

I don't know about you guys but I don't want to risk image retention/burn-in.

I bought another game today to find out that it's 4:3. I love the game it's awesome but unfortunately I have to return it and lose my money because it will be a trade in.

This is about the 5th time this has happened to me and it's getting really annoying.

Usually I check the reviews to let me know but sometimes I just buy the game at spur of the moment.

*sigh* this is depressing

In those cases, just have your TV stretch the image. What kind of TV are you using? If it's fairly new, you don't even need to worry about burn in unless you are playing 24 hours a day.

CRT and Plasma are the only things where burn-in is an issue. If you have DLP or LCD you have nothing to worry about.

What kind of TV are you using? If it's an LCD you can just unplug it for a few hours to get rid of image retention.

I've already tried stretching the image, unfortunately the 4:3 just doesn't stretch enough.

I have an LCD and I know they are less prone to get a burn-in then plasma's but they still are. I used to work for samsung corp. so i'm very familiar with the process. I wish burn in had a time frame that is set in stone but unfortunately there isn't, it can happen in an hr or 24 hrs no one knows.

With unplugging the tv, that only works when the pixels are stuck, which is not the case when you get burn in.

Too stressfull
