on the wii menu is anyone elses non used *tv blocks* snowy? like when u look at it the tv where the block or game is pose to be is fuzzy or snowy like a bad tv signal.

is that normal?

also in resident evil umbrella chronicles the shadows flicker and i can see alot of jagged edges. is this normal?

The unused channels do look snowy. Nothing wrong with that.

Zappy are you using an HDTV and if so at what resolution? That may solve your question with the flickering within Resident Evil.

To elaborate more, the highest Wii games run at is 420p. So if you have anything of a higher resolution it may be a bit choppy/blocky/snowy/etc. Some games (not sure if Resident Evil has it or not) have a calibrate option.
