Which Sports Games(besides the mario ones) that is coming out by December would be a great game for the Wii. I want some feedback from other people so I know which games are or might be good.
Games I'm considering(don't just say this cause I said it,but if you have some info to add on,good or bad then do so)
Madden NFL
WWE Svr 09

MLB Power Play. They are supposed to come out with a new version in July although I have not heard anything recently.

I enjoyed Madden 07 on the Wii. It was done by a different team from EA Sports in Canada. While the graphics were not near the other consoles, it had a lot of features that the first iteration for the 360 and PS3 didnt have.
However, Madden 08 had online play but it was horrible. I never really played it much.
Now EA is releasing NCAA football 2009 for the Wiii yet it WILL NOT have online play. I am not paying $50 for it since they excluded online play after they already had it in the year earlier version of Madden.
EA Sports makes mediocre football games but have exclusive rights to the NFL so they make only minor upgrades on a yearly bassis.

While I'm a little upset that NCAA football won't have online play, it's not gonna keep me from buying it. I've always enjoyed the Career mode more than I did the online play of the game.

It really pisses me off but I always have had more fun with the college football over the pros. If it gets good reviews then i may buy it. If it is mediocre then I wont buy it. No online play and more of the same from EA is not worth the 50 bucks,
I always felt like EA should give you 10 bucks off the next relese if you send in your previous years game.

Think thats a top idea dean but then you'd have to be trading directly with EA and not the game stores.
I'm really hoping for a decent realistic boxing game.

I thought the Wii Fit boxing was horrible. So if Nintendo cannot get the controls right, I have a hard time seeing a third party get it right.
However, I would love to have a great boxing game. Something tells me the Don king title will be a 4 out of 10 title.

I haven't played much of the wii fit boxing or the wii sports boxing myself -- I thought (IMHO) that the "down time" explaining the steps took away from the cardio nature of the exercise.... but I just figured any awkwardness in the boxing itself was just that I never boxed before in my life.
How do the controls in the Wii Sports boxing compare? I am assuming you feel similar, since I know you have both titles.
It would seem that since both wii Fit and wii Sports has boxing -- that it will be only natural for a full game to come out.

The problem with Wii Fit boxing is there is lag and it doesnt register all your punches. I always felt like I was randomaly throwing punches.
A boxing game could be great on the wii but it would have to be 1 to 1 on the punches and it would have to register them quickly so people feel like they are in control.

Yeah, I think they removed the online aspect of both NCAA and Madden this year because it apparently stunk on the '08 version of Madden. Guess they couldn't work on fixing it...
