Ok i did a search for this and nothing came up. I no how the Wii usually sounds when loading a disc but this was just weird.
I put in Rayman Raving rabbits for the 2nd time as i only bought it the other day. I had been playing Mario kart without any dramas all day. I put the Rayman disc in and the drive went crazy like the disc was bouncing around inside the wii. I took it out and put it back in and it worked perfectly fine. I ejected and re inserted that disc as well as a few others and it didn't do it again. Anyone got any idea what happened ? It seems to be working perfectly fine and i haven't been able to make it reproduce the same problem again.

This is my new motto: if it happens once, and doesn't do it again, don't worry about it.. Seriously though, Don't be a worry wart. Forgive and Forget.

There was a thread where a large number of people reported this happening to their Wiis as well, myself included.

Happened to me the first time I loaded up Resident Evil 4. Has never done it since.

*shrugs*
