I often wonder how 3rd party vendors make products that are so pourly thought out. I understand rush to market stradegys but dang folks how hard is it to get something right?

Example:

Nyko Perfect shot. Not only do you have to remove the Skin from your Wii remote but you also have to remove your wrist strap. How freaking stupid is that? This problem is easily solved by drilling a hole in the side of the gun to allow the wrist srtap to pass through but I should not have to do this as the consumer. It could have been addressed in the molding of the plastic itself.

Thoughts?

Well it's ridiculous that you need to move your Wii remote from shell to shell anyway.

What I wouldn't have done for a Guitar Hero guitar that was stand-alone, like the XBox and Playstation ones. Instead, the Wii GH guitar is just a dumb brainless shell that requires the remote to be inserted first (oh how I love peeling off my silicone skin every freakin' time). And ironically, the Wii guitar costs MORE than the XBox and Playstation ones. WTF?

I have a feeling that had to do with niintendo. notice there are no direct link controllers on the market by third party vendors. There is now a nunchuck but no remotes or controllers that attach directly to the console witout the wii remote?

Things that make you go hmmmm...

Pretty soon, 3rd party developers will get a clue. I don't think alot of companies took the Wii seriously when these consoles came out. Now that the Wii's controls have proven themselves as great, they'll start putting good things on the market. We're starting to see things, like the upcoming game Conduit.

The relationship with Nintendo and 3rd party developers has always been a bad one. Now that Nintendo is back on top (after lacking in the past two gens) things i believe will certainly get better. Maybe they will get some more resources in there to really here us out.
