Basic question, can you save Gamecube games on the Wii HD or do you need a GC Memory card?

I don't know where you got your info from, but the Wii doesn't have a HD...:/
You have to have a GC memory card.

Only Wii games, Wii Channels and Virtual console stuff are saved directly to the Wii's internal flash memory. For GameCube games you will need a memory card.

This has been asked before though many times, please search next time.
