I plan to get the component cable that are made for the wii systems in Japan. Anyone knows or can confirm that the component cable also works for the wii sold in North America? Thanks

They should do as everything is made in Japan

I guess you'll be able to get a more deailed answer after the Japanese Launch of Wii and after Nintendo start shipping the cables. It's a case of 'a bit too soon to tell'.

Yeah, for once America is actually getting a Nintendo system before Japan does, I was surprised as well back then when I heard about that.
