It will go on sale for £29.95 and can be charged using the supplied USB cable for convenience. It also boasts all features a Wii Remote would be expected to have: rumble, in-built speaker, and motion sensors.
Datel will debut their new Wiimote in two weeks.
w00t, square buttons!
A console is never successful without horrible 3rd party accessories.
I'm always skeptical about things like this. They could work great, but they could just be a waste of money. That grip doesn't look too great, but if it reviews alright then I might consider it.

The charging feature is pretty cool though.
I agree the included rechargeable battery via usb is a nice touch, but bottom line is it is made by Datel. I will be avoiding this more affordable WiiMote for that reason alone.

You fail at smileys. Anyway, it looks like a piece of crap. Never in a million years would I buy that junk.

Very disappointing. I'd like to see somebody break with the "remote control" form factor and deliver an ergonomically designed wiimote. Just putting all the buttons in easy reach would be a good start, really.
