what im thinking it was:
not sure if anyone else is willing to try this to verify, im going to try again when i get the replacement from noa.
Was playing bowling with 4 people, 3 miis that were created on the wii, and 1 that was sent to me in the mii channel.
after the game was over i went back to the main wii menu, it loads then the error pops up.
im thinking the wii has a bug in using other system created miis in the bowling game because its trying to save the score data, and since the mii wasnt created on the system it cannot access all the data.
Let me know your thoughts on this?
Hopefully not many other people will get this error.
Aren't Mii's save the the Wiimote though? So if it was an error saving, would the problem just be within the Wiimote?

My whole family was testing out some Wii Sports at thanksgiving and my grandma says, "Those Japanese people, they sure use their brain powers."...... and I say nothing, and my six year old cousin looks over at her and says, "pandas are like people, they understand everything."
-I forget.
call nintendo send it in for a replacement, say bye bye to your save games unless you backed it up. yes it sucks! i tried to ask them for free wii points for the trouble and they said no.
i got the same message, but i didnt use any other mii's from other peoples systmes. im sendin it back. it sucks though, i had a bunch of zelda saved to and lost it all
i got the same error message.
I turned off the Wii, turned it back on and it worked.
Got it a few times and fixed it by turning off.
Hasn't come back since I've updated the Wii to 2.0
I got the same error message, but i managed to get into the system settings and re-format the memory. Seems to be working alright now. But i still cant connect to the internet. Not sure if its my router thats going downhill, or my wii. Especially since the internet worked perfect for the first month i had the wii.
Believe me I tried a dusin times. I even unplugged the power for a longer period of time, but it just didn't work. I've sent it in. Just waiting for a return.

That is very interesting. How did you purchase your Wii points? There should be a record of it so you can prove you spent them, and if so, they are OBLIGATED to replace them for you. So for example if you used your credit card number over the 'net, that's gotta be recorded somewhere. If you bought a card in a store, that serial card number will show on their end that the points have been spent, right? I can't imagine what explanation they gave you as to why they aren't going to replace your points. Can you tell us anymore about that conversation? Anyone have any theories about how this could have happened?
ummmm.... I don't think you're on the same page as we are .
We're talking about a replacement for the Wii.....

btw: currently you shouldn't try messing too much with the transfer of Miis and other stuff concerning memory system files. Or even better, don't. At least not untill you have the latest update of the Wii.
