Check it out, the WiiLinux team already figure out how to get WiiMote to actually work on your computer.

UPDATE: Playing Half Life 2 with WiiMote.
Also you are NOT required to have a sensor bar to use the wiimote. The sensor bar is only used for pointer feature and the video use only the tilt features like the PS3 controller. Also it's possible to run Windows applications on a Mac: http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/

Three reasons I think this is fake:
1: There is no sensor bar. You can't use the pointer without the sensor bar (they are also way to close to be within range)
2: There is a huge delay in the motion, and not all of the motions transfer, it's like someone off screen has a mouse and is moving it in reaction to the Wiimote
3: That's a pre-intel macbook, supposedly running Windows. That doesn't happen.

the sensor bar isnt needed, hes using the motion sensor, not the IR sesnor

That definately is a mac laptop, i'm not sure how you tell if it's a pre-intel based book but that's definately Windows OS running on it which leads me to believe that it actually IS Intel based.

d'oh! As long as they could get it alligned, that would explain the delay. It doesn't explain how not all of his motions registered, though.

Someone off screen might just be controlling the mouse, and that guy just waving the wiimote around for nothing...

LiquidIce's Nintendo Wii Hacks: Download the Windows WiiMote Driver
Unfortunately I am pretty sure the latency in the cursor movement is a permanent problem.
Meaning it is useless really.

it almost looks like he recorded the mouse movements with some kind of macro recorded and then played it back and tried to move the wiimote withit. You can see in a few parts he tilts the wiimote up and the cursor still moves down.

Would you guys stop discrediting these people for their work. They're bringing you something for nothing. Stop complaining. If you think it's fake, just go to the address he gave you in the video:
