I thought I would post this so anyone opening a Wii on Christmas morning wouldn't freak out if their remote is acting goofy. We have a tree set up right next to the the TV that is giving our remote the fits. The tree has the old-fashion large lights on it and it really plays havoc with the controller. At first I thought something was wrong but after un-plugging the lights on the tree everything was fine.

I have the mini lights up at my house. If you just turn down the sensitivity of the Wii pointer (under sensor bar settings), that fixes it.

It doesn't matter what size they are..
If you have LED lights on your christmas tree, and your TV is nearby..
Your wiimote is gonna throw a fit. All the sensor bar is, is a couple of red LEDs.

In addition to this kinda stuff
A lot of christmas lights are proven to degrade wifi signals.

Where do you find such a string of christmas lights? I would totally buy those if I knew where to get them.
