hey man is the memory card third party? if so which brand? because i have a logic 3 memory card and that works great and it comes out of the slot as a bonus!

If you still haven't figured it out, this is the REAL way to do it. I found this answer via IGN Game Boards.
1-Push memory card all the way in.
2-Wiggle top of memory card towards the back of the Wii Console.
3-Pull Memory card towards the back of the console, and the memory card WILL slide out. I checked this process front and back, and it is 100% safe for the Wii and the GC Memory Card. I had this same problem at 5:30PM, January 5th, 2009. If this doesn't work, consult Nintendo over the phone.
