You can't use just any SD card. It has to be 2GB and below is size b/c SD's bigger than that use SDHC which is NOT compatible with the Wii.

I have the plain square gray, black, and white memory cards. Will those work?

Has anyone even tried a SD card bigger than 2GB? I know that Nintendo said that bigger cards MAY not work but conclusive proof would be nice. Please state brand and capacity.

Read the section about SD Cards. . .Any SD card would work as long as it's not SDHC.

Right now you can score a 2GB Kingston on frys.com for $25, no rebates, free shipping. I finally bought an SD card.
