does the wii REQUIRE a memory card?

Does the nintendo wii REQUIRE A memory card in order to save the game? if so how much do they cost and does one come free when u buy a Wii?

Ok you have an SD card slot on the frontof the Wii which is it's memory card. It stores info all on Saved stuff. You can get 1gb, 2gb cards and they range from £20-£50 BUT

You get 512 with it built in. The slot is for added memory.

So you get 512 built in and you can buy more. 512 has around 2,000 blocks
It's enough to get you going
