Though its 3rd party, I've already sent in a ticket to Nintendo asking if they have plans to block it via update. Confirmed to work with the wii.

Np, this should be stickied really. It would GREATLY improve Wii Internet / Shopping Channel speeds, for DS-Wifi-Adapter users.
