A couple of my friends that got a Wii for christmas and don't have a wireless router so they went past what I told them about getting the Wi-fi USB Connnector made by Nintendo and bought a WiFiMax.

Well the problem is neither of them can get the thing working with the Wii. So if anyone has one of these or can help my friends that I would appreciate it if you could help.

did they turn of all firewalls, even the windows one. it took me awhile to get mine to work, but once i did it works amazing.

You need to accept it on the PC. Connect using the Wii then on your PC click the Nintendo icon to except that user. Like you did with the DS, if you own one...
