Wow, horrible heading but I have completely forgotten what it is I need to get online

I have a wired router and using broadband internet, and our broadband is shared between 2 computers in one house. I am using the computer without the router attached, but it has internet. <--I know it is obvious, but noone seems to understand me

Anyway, I tried getting the WIFI thingo on DS and it didn't work at all, no matter how many times I called Nintendo. I am reasonably sure I had to attach it to the computer with the router attached which I cannot do.

So my questions are:
1. What is that cable called that comes out in March or something to connect to the internet? <--Has completely forgotten

2. Can I attach it to the computer without the router probably?

3. Will there be extension cables (as i will definetly need it )

Amazingly...I did! And while posting that, my search may be more effective if I could find out what I want to search for, instead of flames or whatever you Searchies post.

Edit: Well, I found help on a competitors help board. It is called a Wii LAN ADAPTER and is now available for $40 on the Nintendo Website!
