This is not the same problem as the locking down at the login screen so dn't say it's a repeat.
So, I have an internet connection that works and it's all configured on the Wii, but I'm not able to look at the shop channel. It always says error.
Is there a way to solve this?

same problem! i can connect and use other internet channels like opera, news, and weather, buyt no wii shop channel!

Yes, but it stopped working ever since I moved it to a new location...closer to the computer.
