Help with usb wifi connector with Win2000, additional info for XP people
XP/win2k People with nintendo usb connector if you want to make it work as normal wifi adapter as an Access Point, so you can connect it with your PSP or your PDA etc, you can try this:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/390312 This link is only useful for win2k people: http://www.gadgetmadness.com/archive..._two_steps.php THis is my situation tho: I just got a Nintendo Wifi USB connector but it doesnt work with Window2000. By further research (above links) I found out it is just a Buffalo brand wifi adapter and some people able to use just buffalo driver in order to work with any OS. I did just that and it is connecting however my DS and Wii never be able to find the access point, any help? These are what i know about the setup: wired router SoftAP (access point) mode not Ad-hoc Its opened not shared No wep XP has something call network bridging but Win2000 doesnt have it, is it nessariary? firewall issue thats why things aint going through? Please help and let me know if you need more information, thank you
