Hi I am having some issues with connecting my Wii to my exsisting wireless connection that I am using right now with my laptop. I keep getting an error code that says my connection is not configured correctly. Also, can I just use an ethernet cable?, or do I have to buy more stuff for this money milker?
Thanks Bill67 |

i have a air card for my laptop, and a discontinued buffalo wireless wii usb wifi connector. normallay its ehh at best way more shots then needed to kill someone. every so often im at my best amazed at how good the game go's when all is working at peak. lately its hard to get more then 14 kills in a team death match. i did some speed checks and saw that i was running at -90 100, bad. so i moved the laptop upstairs and dropped the wii usb through the 2nd floor vent which only put it 15ft away from my wii, and increased my speed to -65, but to my broken heart i was still left with a jumpy glitchy screen and a bad kill count ratio. im looking into antennas, but after that im not sure if that is the problem, and i find lil on aircards on wii and other forums.

We are trying to get the Wii online work, I am not sure if its because our password to our router is not right or we just are connecting.
We get up to is shows your user name and you click on it then type in your password and then it goes to try to connect and it wont connect. My router MSI. |

Hi, is anyone happy to answer questions regarding wireless routers?
I phoned a technical support person from my internet subscriber, I am going through my cellphone. This guy told me that if my laptop had wifi, i would not need a router. IS this true?? Anyway, before he told me that I had tried the following. I connected my laptop to my cellphone, and accessed the internet. I then used a D-Link 2100AP router, and connected that to my laptop. I shared my internet connection. My Wii found the wireless network, but cant access the internet. I tested it by trying to connect another laptop to the network, and again, I could not access the internet. I know the problem here is not Wii specific, but I am totally stuck, and dont know what to do. I have a text file with the IP adresses that are set up on the network, I suspect something is wrong with them, since I am not so clued up on IPs. If you can help me I would really appreciate it, and I can send you the IP set up if need be. Thank you Calico

I have a wired broadband connection, but my 4-way modem and phone adapter is in the living room. My PC and Wii are in my bedroom though next to each other.
I was just wondering is there a way for me to connect the Nintendo LAN adapter or Wireless Router from my PC to the Wii?, or do i have to connect it to the modem from our living room?. My mom wouldnt allow it if its from the living room as it would mean 2 doors wont be able to be shut Thank you i hope you guys can help me |

My laptop uses a USB modem for wireless broadband. Is it possible to hook up the wii to the laptop with a cable and access the internet for on-line gameing that way? Can I hook something up to my laptop to create wireless network for Wii / I-pod etc? |
