Hey, my Wii finds and recognizes my router, but i get an "IP conflict error" on my Wii, i think my computer and Wii are trying to use the same IP address, how can i change this?

My router won't connect to the Wii, and i'm getting annoyed by it now.

It connects fine with the DS, so the SSID and WPA-PSK (TKIP) passcode are right.

It just won't work with the wii, i'd try the DS and see if it connects again but I don't have any DS online games right now.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, WE NEED HELP.

We've had the Wii for about a year but have never tried to put it online yet. Now we have want to hook up to some friends and play on line with them and cannot get it to work?

I have some questions, some may be completely obvious others I don't know, so I apologise in advance!

The current PC connection is via an Orange Livebox is it possible to use this wirelessly with the Wii? Has anyone managed it? I tried, the Wii says it can see the livebox, its ask me to put in the passcode, it says its testing the connection then comes up failed error code 51330

I’m assuming that the Wii has a wifi connection built into it as its seeing the livebox? Or do I need a separate adaptor on it? I have a Belkin G Wireless USB adaptor here that I’ve had from ages ago and its brand new still in the box, will this work with the Wii? But then would I need to load the CD onto the Wii or do I do it via the PC?

I’m so sorry if this is completely obvious to others but I guess I thought it would be so easy to just connect the Wii to the internet and go for it…!

You will probably need the lan adapter or the Wifi usb connecter.

The wii only uses adapters made from nintendo. And you might need it. and are you using any type of password at all?

You will probably need the wifi usb connecter.

Hi - I have just got a Wii and cannot seem to get a wireless connection to my Siemens SE587 (Tiscali). Tiscali is shown in the set up menu on the Wii but it fails the test connection - error 51330. I have looked at Wii's website and have tried all their solutions but still cannot get it going - they do bang on about a MAC setting but this is not mentioned in any of Tiscali's settings - I am at a loss and am not really that technically minded so if you could help it would be very much appreciated.
