you register friends by asking someone if they can add you to there wii friend list. and you both have to add eachother. If you are tryng to find the friend list you go on message board and then go to create message. then it will show you a list. you can add friends there but they also have to add you or else it won't work.

I have recently purchased a new wireless router.
I managed to get my WII connected and the first thing it wanted to do was check it was up to date on the firmware (i believe)..
stupid me allowed it too.
Now it still detects my wireless connection but will no longer connect to it.
Can anyone provide me with any advise?
Thanks in advance

i'm using D Link DWL 2100AP for my access point.
My NDS and PSP works fine when trying to connect to the internet or to the WFC via NDS.
But my Wii can't connect to the server and result with error code 52230.
What's wrong with my Wii
Thanx in advance

You will probably need a stronger connection. Try to get the USB wifi connecter.

Hi,
I'm having trouble playing games online with my Wii, wirelessly.
The Wii connects to my network fine... The Check Mii Out, News, Weather etc.. work fine, but games just time out whilst trying to connect.
My network should be fine... there's two wireless computers and a PDA that use it. The Wii is plenty close enough to the router.
Fifa 08 and Mario Kart are the games that both time out.
The router is a Linksys WRT150N.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I need some help connecting my wii online.
Every time i try to connect it crops up with an error code. Ive searched the web for a solution and tried it but it never works.
It is normaly error code 51032, and when I occaisonaly connect i'm inturrepted most of the time by error code 61070. If i go to the wii menu and do a connection test, if it fails (like it probably will, ive tried this once before) then the connection turns off and wont let me even attempt to connect bofore the test succeeds.
Ive tried changng the router channel from 1, to 6, to 11, and back to one again several times. When i changed it to 11 the first time it worked for about a week (glory days) before it went back to the same problem again.
I have a Buffalo WMBR G54 Wireless router which always works with my Ds. It is actually conneected to the internet (the pc works) because it lets my chack the weather on the forecast channel, nothing else.
Please Help.

You probably need to move your router somewhere that the wii can detect it easily.

Hi Pro-gamer
Thanks for your reply. It seems to be working now... I'd tried it on about three different occasions... maybe i was just unlucky and the server(s) were down each time? Anyway, it's started working.

I have been able to connect my Wii up to the internet wirelessly and play MK online without problems. However, the next day the Wii no longer found the internet connections even though I made no changes. I cleared my internet connections in the Wii menu and started again. Once again I could play online but the next day it no logner recognized the internet connection again? Does any one have any suggestions for this? I am somewhat familiar with routers and what not and I can access my router menu. My router is a linksys wrt150n.
Thanks
Mike
