i'm having problems with conneting the wii to the pc wirelessly, on the router i see the wii but not on the pc. i'musing vista can you help

I'am using wii for a while.Now i want to connect wii to internet.I need to know that which one among this(lan adapter,wifi or wireless router) will be good.And also i want to know that wireless router require high speed to connect with internet coz mine internet speed is 128 kbps.
And what should i get to run this program?

I have a question that hopefully you can answer...I've been having trouble trying to hook my wii up to the internet through my laptop which has a verizon aircard. I was told that i could hook it up through an ethernet cable or crossover cable with an ethernet to usb adapter. Do you think this would work?

I have a netgear router which plays mario kart online no problem but im yet to be connected to an online match on SSBB!

The error code i keep getting is 86420.(With trying to play with friends or with anyone)

What can i do to brawl online? Do i need a new router or just to adjust the setting of the Netgear!

Online play is not the only reason i bought this game but i would like to try it sometime

I am extrememly new to Wii and love playing. I want to connect to the internet, but am having trouble. I have a LAN adapter, I do not have wireless. I have a 2Wire router for my computer and I can use my laptop from any phone jack in the house. This does not work for the Wii. My PC is located in a different room than my Wii. Will I need to run a direct line from the router to the Wii?

Hey everyone.

Okay I did alot of searching online, contacted Nintendo support, and so far no luck. So when I came across this forum, I was hoping maybe some of you could help me.

I've had my Wii for quite awhile now, but never bothered to connect it to the internet because I figured my Step-Father would give me grief about it "Lagging WoW" (Everything to him lags WoW).

Just this past Thursday however, he went out and bought himself a Wii. Immediately he turned on the Wireless Router (We've always had one but never used it) and connected it to the net. Soon after, he said I could do the same, but no luck.

I've gotten tons of different Error codes, all of which end up saying the same thing when you look them up. I've tried all the different trouble shooting. He's changed channel on his Router. And still, nothing. Cannot connect.

My Step-Father figures there is absolutely no way to have both systems on our network. Something about, the Router gave his system the name "Wii", and because mine would be the same, it refuses to acknowledge it.

I emailed Nintendo support, asking if it was even possible to have Two Wii Systems on the same network. He said it was, that I shouldn't be having any problems at all. But didn't bother to tell me how to fix my problem, aside from doing the exact same trouble shooting I had already been through.

So my question for you all is - Do any of you please know if and how it is possible to get both Wii's connected to the same network?

i live in canada okay...

im trying to get my online up and running but somehow i cant. i have my ip codes right and my dns codes right but i still keep getting error codes 51200 and also 51230

im asuming u r using a router so in the ip addresso make sure its 1 digit higher than the ip address on the computer for example if its 192.168.1.0 make it on the wii 192.168.1.1

Could someone please help, I can not connect through either wirless or wi-fi I am getting error message 52131, done all the things it said ie IP address plus 1 etc does anyone have any other suggestions i am at the end of my tether and the phone line is not open for help on an evening.

i did what u sed and VOILA! no error 51200

but i get error 52130 what is that? srsly its peeving me off
