. OK, so then the next plan would be to set up wireless. Thanks for the reply.

I thought you said you had concrete walls. Wifi signals don't go through concrete well.

I do but the Wii is 'just' on the other side of the where I'd hook up the D-Link and hope springs eternal that the signal will go thru! Otherwise I have no option to connect the Wii. Thanks.

Hey there, you directed it to the wrong person. I'm a Wii newbie as well.
Go to the first post of the first thread and direct your question to Pro Gamer as I'm afraid I won't be much help. Good luck!

ok at my university, to connect to the wireless internet connection, you have to enter a username and password that is unique to every student. i can't find how to enter it into the wii. i found some stuff under the proxy part of the wii but i can't get it right. i had figured out how to connect my ipod touch to the wireless and it took a while but i can't remember how i did it. is there any way you can help me?

I have a TrendNet Wireless N router. I cannot get the Wii to connect to it. It finds the Access point but fails the connection test every time. i have moved the router so that it was a lot closer but still get same message and it must pick up something since it finds the network automatically. i keep getting the error message 51330 and have gone through all of the steps. I know the security is very sophisticated on the router as the GeeK Squad was here to hook up the network and even commented on how Windows XP couldn't get through. Any suggestions?

Hello.
I recently moved to the middle of nowhere, and the only way to get the net here was with a USB modem, through version. Is there any possible way to get this online with the Wii? And before you say just stick it in back, i tried that, but on the comp you have to install a program and tell it manually to connect, and theres no way to do anything like that here. (unless im wrong.)

Hey there I need some help with my internet connection in games. Every time my Dad goes into Mario Kart, on the Wiiconnect 24, he connects, but everytime he searches to find opponents to race, it says there is no people on. He can go onto the internet channel and wii shop channel just fine, but can't find people to race with. Can you help him? I am away at college so I don't know whats up with it. Please let me know as soon as possible, if you can help, so I can let him know. THANKS!
