I was wondering if there would be any problem if the Wii is modded and you want to play online games? Is there anything to worry about or it should be fine?

I was just curious for the question. Why do you say not to mod it? I would want to get it modded to make copies of current games I own. The kids always scratch up CD's and I would love to have copies, let them use the copies so as soon as they game is not useable anymore I can just make another copy off the original.

Because when people mod their Wii, when an update occurs, it breaks it. I've seen too many topics about people's Wiis breaking because they modded it.
