it wouldnt be better because of no wires. if you have anything WIRED now-in-days, its instant. for example, if you connect your av cable to tv, do you have to wait five minutes for it to trade information-no.
you dont know wat ur talking about. if you want the fastest, get the lan adapter. it even says its faster on the BOX!!-lol
but if you want to hook it up wirelessly, get a router. best call.(instead of the usb connecter)
Especially if youre wii is in another room. hope that helps.

If you only have one connection to your router then maybe look at getting a network switch to increase the number of connections available?
Something like this.. .. .. ..

Incorrect. You absolutely can go on the internet with it. The LAN adapter plugs into the Wii, and then you run a wire from the LAN adapter to the back of your router.
If you don't have a router already, you should.

The LAN adapter will by-far not only give you a faster connection but it will be more-reliable and require far less setup and configuration. It will not be prone to interference, obstacles, or any of the other things that plague wireless.

Get the lan adaptor. You need to be very tech-savy to use the USB Wifi connector thing.

And with the wifi adapter, your computer needs to be turned on and in working order for the Wii to get online. Any software issues (Windows hosed itself yet again, malware infections, etc) might get in the way. With a router, the state of your PC doesn't matter.

It should also be noted that the Wi-Fi Adapter has been discontinued by Nintendo, however you could probably still find one in stores. Nintendo recommends a wireless router instead. And the LAN Adapter is still being made though.

Just more evidence on what a bad idea the wifi PC adapter was. Seems like a panacea in theory, but in practice it's a pain the arse.

ok so my Wii is in the same room as my Computer and so i still dunno which one would be more efficent becuase if i get the LAN adapter then i can play online on the wii perfectly but i could not go on the internet through my computer....
If i get the Wi-fi i can do both though at the cost of poor connection... so which one would be more benifical????

Get neither. Get a router instead. It's what Nintendo recommends.
