Web Browser?
61. Will the Wii use an online web browser?
Yup, the Wii will use the web browser Opera.
How do you get there. All I can do is look at the news and weather.

You have to buy the Internet Channel from the Wii Shop Channel. It costs 500 wii points ($5 dollars).

I've connected my Wii successfully to my wireless network. I typed in the correct security code, which was accepted and the menu asked if I wanted to update, so I answered "yes". It checked, but no updates are needed. Wii tells me that I have connected successfully, and I saved my settings, but there're no buttons to connect to the internet. What do I do? Should I try to install Opera on my Wii from a CD?

You don't install opera from a CD, you buy it from the Wii Shop channel, which you get as an update as soon as you get internet, or from the latest game which comes with an update. Then from the wiishop channel, buy wii points (with a credit card, or go to a gaming store which might have a Wii Points card)
Go to Wiiware -> Opera Browser, then click download (if you used a wii points card you have to go to the wiipoints section of the wiishop, and Redeem wii points). Then go back to the main menu after the downloading finishes, and there you go!, you got internet on the wii!

I completely disagree. I use my wii Internet to watch news, tv shows, movies and more. Youtube, google video and megavideo offer millions of hours of free video. So long as I have wii wifi connection- I will never pay another cable bill.
