Well, i connected my wii to dialup using the wifi connector and i have had no problems with it. Its well weird. I've also been able to play halo 3 and go on xbox live without lag unless i turn on the mic.
Anyways back to the wii, I hooked it up and it took me about 2hrs to download the 3.2firmware. I got that and then enter the wii shop i was amazed to see it actually works for me! I downloaded the Check mii out channel and Everybody votes channel. Then, i got photo channel 1.1 Everything seems to work 100% its a little slow on downloading in the news and weather channel takes about 3mins for all the channels to load has anyone else had atleast decent success with the wii with dialup
Before you tell me i need to get high speed, i am a total computer geek i also know a few programming langagues. I am aware that i need high speed too bad i can not get it where i live currently because i live in the country 2-3 miles from where the comcast digital cable and ALL OTHER DSL AND CABLE !internet lines stop! NOO!:@

EDIT:@your edit: I live out in the country as well but AT&T was able to run DSL along the existing phone line so phone and internet ran on one line. Do you have AT&T where you live? just something to consider...

I already checked with At&T we have our house and cellular phone service through them. They said it wasn't available. I checked with comcast, and earthlink and many others its simply just too far out
@Registerednerd that was a nice idea but wildblue is 4x the cost of DSL/Cable and is maybe 2x faster then dialup. The latency would cripple me, i could probably do better on dialup if i wanted to go on wifi game.
