Virgin BB / Cable Modem what do I do

Have Virgin as my BB provider. with a modem have Belkin router & dong for it.
Simple question.Can I connect the Wii to modem but keep away from My PC

if your router is wireless you don't need anything else. just try and connect to see if your wii detects an access point. if not, your going to need a wii LAN adapter. it connects to your wii and then you need an ethernet cable to connect it to your modem.
