Mario Kart - cant connect to the internet?
Got the Wii set up on the internet today but when I try and do Competitions on Mario Kart it says the following:
"You can participate in Worldwide Mario competitions. Please connect your Wii to the internet. Make sure Wii connect 24 is activated and wait for a competition to start"?
I have checked and I am connected to the internet but it doesnt seem to do anything? Is it that there no competitions ongoing?
I can log on to download ghost data but dont get the online gaming side? I would have expected it to work like Halo where you go online, find a game and then join?
Please help me

So the way to do it is to set people up in the friends section and do a game that way?

You can do that, or just play randomly online

Well, in world wide there are most of the best people so it is harder, but in Continental it is hard too but there are less leveled people in the groups

Yeah I've come ok in a few continental games, though I'm new to Mario Kart.
I was into Diddy Kong Racing on the N64.
Basically the same thing, only it had more battle options.

Hi MIJKT
All you have to do is, when your on the main menu screen, go to the bottom left of the screen where the number 1 and 2 are in boxes, (nintendo WFC) and you clik on the 1 for 1 player internet action, or the 2 for 2 players on your wii plus internet action. Then it routes you through to the search engine thingy to find players.
